Why Hope Isn’t Feeling So Thankful This Year on Bold and the Beautiful

Hope underwent many turmoils this year alone on The Bold and the Beautiful. She’s a shell of her former self. The woman who stood for morals and integrity is now making questionable decisions, and her personal and professional life crashed and burned as a result. Now that Thanksgiving is here, let’s look at why Hope won’t be as thankful. 

What Family?

At the beginning of the year, Hope (Annika Noelle) was in a relationship with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). She ruined their chance at romance by turning down his many proposals. Thomas took off to Paris with her adoptive son, Douglas (Henry Samiri). 

He returned over the summer with a new family unit. Thomas shared that he was engaged to Paris (Diamond White). Soon enough, the couple headed back to Europe. It’s likely that Thomas won’t come back. (Atkinson Hinted At His Exit From B&B.)

On top of that, Hope got burned by her own mother. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) found out about her daughter’s takeover plans with her new boyfriend Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). She quickly informed Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), who just came to terms with the truth. Hope will find herself alone at the family dinner table this year. 

Feeling Hopeless

Hope not only lost her family, but she also lost her business. 2024 is the year when Hope for the Future was officially canceled. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fired Hope from Forrester Creations after she found her on top of her husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan). (BTW, Steffy Has A Lot More To Be Thankful For.)

Hope’s career is now in shambles. This led to her blossoming romance with Carter, who was her only hope. (Sort of, speak.) He’s been her number-one supporter up to this point. 

Carter doesn’t even care about Hope’s past. She’s made mistakes along the way, like drunkenly kissing Finn. Her head’s been all over the place lately. It’s no wonder why her mom has been worried about her. Hopefully, next year will be a better one for Hope.
