Here’s Who Taylor Should Make A Play For On Bold and the Beautiful

It would be easy to think that Taylor is still pining for Ridge on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, it could be a different Forrester man that she set her sights on with this recent return, and it would cause even more chaos.

Taylor’s Attraction to Eric

There was a time when Taylor (Rebecca Budig) was attracted to Eric (John McCook). Hunter Tylo famously portrayed Taylor. The two first flirted in 1995, and Taylor couldn’t resist him. She felt guilty because she knew his wife, Stephanie (Susan Flannery), wanted him back. 

Taylor promised never to pursue him further, so the two kept their kiss a secret. In 1998, Taylor married Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and became Eric’s daughter-in-law. Ronn Moss portrayed Ridge at the time.

In 2013, Taylor had an affair with Eric. She learned that her daughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was pregnant with Liam’s (Scott Clifton) baby. Liam waffled between Steffy and Hope (Annika Noelle). Taylor wanted Liam to choose her daughter because she knew he loved her. 

Her daughter’s situation upset her, so she turned to Eric, and the two bonded. They started their secret affair. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) caught the two in bed together. She reminded Eric that his wife had just passed away. The affair led Taylor to have a new showdown with Brooke.

Brooke eventually stole Eric away from Taylor. It came to an end when Taylor discovered Brooke’s medical history. When Taylor learned the truth, she exposed Brooke’s affair with Bill(Don Diamont). Eric was upset about Taylor’s retaliation. Later, he told Brooke that Taylor was the one who ended their relationship. 

New Showdown with Donna

Taylor might claim that she’s still in love with Ridge, but her feelings for Eric never really went away. She could still be attracted to him, especially after learning that he almost died. Divulging her feelings for him could lead to a showdown between Taylor and Donna (Jennifer Gareis). 

Up to this point, Eric has been faithful to his “honey bear.” They even got married. Taylor making a play for Eric could cause her to have a catfight with Donna involving Eric’s beloved jar of honey.

This could also complicate Taylor’s relationship with Steffy. Once she learns that her mom wants her grandfather, Steffy might not be happy about it. After all, Steffy recently attempted to push her parents back together, so adding her grandpa to the mix wouldn’t be welcome.

Taylor could also find herself on the outs with Brooke and Ridge. They would agree that Taylor shouldn’t get in the middle of Eric’s marriage to Donna. This surprising move could bring the couple even closer together. The twist that could tear the Forresters apart and make the Logans even more powerful.
