Even though The Bold and the Beautiful tried convincing us that Steffy killed Sheila, we weren’t convinced. And no amount of Deacon and Sheila flashbacks, or reminders that Finn and Sheila had a connection was going to do it. The show finally dropped the truth at the end of the Friday, April 5 episode. The “Sheila” that got cremated had all her toes intact!
Did nobody check the whole ten toes situation right after Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) “died”? Once again, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) lived up to this last name. At the crematorium, he properly grieved for his fiancée complete with flowers, tears, and flashbacks. Then, the cremation started. (B&B alum Krista Allen recently celebrated a birthday)
And as the body entered the incinerator, the sheet that covered “Sheila” slipped. Apparently, the real Sheila didn’t count on Deacon’s love for her to follow her body to the crematorium. If she had, maybe she’d have clued him in, because he instantly knew that wasn’t his Sheila when he spied ten toes instead of nine. Now, the shocked restaurant owner will spread the news, informing all her enemies that they still need to watch their backs (fronts and sides, too).
Last night, The Bold and the Beautiful‘s supervising producer, Casey Kasprzyk, teased today’s episode on social media. He basically confirmed what fans had been suspecting since Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stabbed “Sheila” weeks ago.
The killer revelation came just as Genoa City’s Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman of The Young and the Restless) celebrated Sheila’s demise with Eric (John McCook). She also offered support to Steffy because they both understood why Steffy didn’t need to feel an ounce of guilt over what she did to Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) bio mom.
So, let’s talk about the corpse that substituted for Sheila’s own body. Is it Sugar? If it was, did Sheila trick her to get her cooperation or did she go along willingly? What’s the story there?
In the show’s sneak peek following the big cliffhanger, Deacon tells Finn next week about the possibility of Sheila being alive. Will the doctor be happy, or will this seal the deal and help him realize that Sheila always has a plan and a scheme and that he can’t trust her?
Furthermore, how will this affect Finn and Steffy’s marriage? They’re already in a fragile place. Will this revelation unite them or shatter them even more?
