War is Brewing on Bold and the Beautiful

Hope declared war on Steffy at the end of the Thursday, May 30 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. But that’s not the only war that’s brewing in Los Angeles. And, for once, Sheila isn’t involved.

Emotional Escalation In Los Angeles

War #1: Hope and Steffy

Hope: Steffy wants to cancel Hope for the Future. She said that it’s a business decision. But we all know that is not the case. This is about her personal vendetta against me. This is about her trying to take something that I care so much about away from meyet again and I’m tired of it. I’m not going to allow it, Mom. Look, I’ve tried to play nice. But if she wants to do this, if she wants to go after my line and pit the Forresters against the Logans, then et her. Steffy has another thing coming. And she’s going to regret it. Because this time…it’s war.

It is Hope’s intention to declare war on Steffy should the Co-Ceo of Forrester Creation follow through on her threat. If Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) eliminates Hope for the Future, Hope (Annika Noelle) feels she has no choice but to hit back where it hurts. Are we actually going to see her do her best to enact a plan of revenge and retaliation?

In her rant to her mother and aunts, Hope mentioned how the Logans and Forresters would be at war. So, this war may not simply involve Hope and Steffy. It may extend to their respective families. Each individual person will have to choose sides. For example, when Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) returns, will he remain loyal to the Forresters? And what will their weapons of choice be? Words, Actions, another fashion showdown?

Also, has enough time passed by to give up on the line already? Do you think Steffy is justified in potentially eliminating Hope for the Future? Or is this just a petty, vindictive move on her part?

War #2 Katie and Poppy

Well, for the second day in a row, the show seemed to erase the Katie (Heather Tom) / Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) romance. Instead of bringing up Katie’s current relationship, Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) interrogated Katie about her feelings for Bill (Don Diamont). Does she still have feelings for her ex-husband? Is she happy with her life? Was she supposed to say no? Because we better get a conversation between Katie and Carter if that’s the case. (Catch up on B&B’s latest Comings & Goings)

Donna: You and Bill share a child together. And that is something Luna’s motiher will NEVER have with Bill.

And Katie absolutely seemed 100% jealous of Poppy (Romy Park). When she told her sisters she didn’t know about Poppy, it sounded deeper than frustration. Sure, it’s annoying that Bill hadn’t told her about Poppy’s existence. Just wait until Katie finds out Dollar Bill may have a grown-up daughter. How will she react then? So far, she remains calm and cool. To find out news about Luna’s paternity may cause Katie to step in and exert her presence and play on her past with Bill. And Dollar Bill would completely relish two women fighting over him. You know he would.

War #3 Li and Poppy/Bill

We were reminded of how much Li (Naomi Matsuda) judges her little sister’s life and choices. She clearly feels Poppy is a gold-digger from way back. And when Li is around, expect warlike conditions…at all times.

Li: He ticks all the boxes. He’s handsome, older, rich, very rich. But he’s also Kelly’s grandfather. And as everyone knows, how protective I am of Finn’s family. I won’t allow Poppy to take advantage of Bill.

So far, Li is all bluster. But she hasn’t found out a few things. First, she doesn’t know how tight Poppy and Bill are. Second, she might not know anything about Luna’s bio dad potentially being Bill. What will she do when she finds that little ditty out? It’s too bad that nothing came from Bill and Li’s brief flirtation back when he saved her after she and Sheila tried to kill her. That would make what’s going on now more interesting.

This whole trying to protect Finn’s family excuse doesn’t cut it when Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy are doing a good job destroying their marriage alone. In fact, Li needs to work overtime to help her son come to his senses with the whole Sheila business. (B&B Alum Rome Flynn is taking on a new role. Find out the details here)
