Henry Joseph Samiri would likely get a stunt double on a movie or TV set, but, alas, The Bold and the Beautiful star didn’t have one in real life. The fan favorite is on the mend after suffering an injury while playing. Soap Hub has the details.
According to Samiri’s mom, Tammy, Henry was playing at an academy for Parkour (the discipline in which people attempt to get from one point to another in the fastest way possible while performing gymnastic maneuvers) when he received an injury to his left arm. Henry landed perfectly while doing a backflip but hit a wall with his hand out behind him.
“He was in quite a lot of pain, but luckily, it’s just a Radius Buckle Fracture,” Tammy explains, “so he is only in a cast for three weeks! He will need to take it easy for a few weeks after that, but then will be back and healed and ready to resume his adventurous lifestyle.
“He was very brave, and I’m very proud of him that even through this, he can’t wait to get back to improving his backflips so he can land them on the ground [which is] his goal by end of summer,” Tammy adds.
There’s no word yet if B&B will opt to write in Henry’s injury to the show. A lot will depend on whether or not the actor has some upcoming tape days. Henry’s co-stars and daytime pals reached out with messages of support for their injured pal.
“You’ve got this big guy!! You’re going to be good as new before you know it!!” wrote Kimberlin Brown (Sheila). Added Judah Mackey (Connor, The Young and the Restless): “Wishing you a speedy recovery!” Soap Hub joins Henry’s family and friends in sending healing vibes to him, and we hope he’s back to feeling 100% quickly!
