Happy birthday, Katherine Kelly Lang.
Life is coming up roses for The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke Logan. After all, she’s back with Ridge, and she’s the new face of Brooke’s Bedroom line. If only her daughter Hope could get it together. Luckily, life is much simpler for actress Katherine Kelly Lang, who currently has a lot to celebrate.
And that’s because she was born on July 25, 1962, in Hollywood, California, which means that this talented performer is turning 62 years old today! Lang made her acting debut in the film Skatetown, U.S.A., opposite Scott Baio, Maureen McCormick, and Patrick Swayze.
Subsequently, she appeared in guest spots on primetime programs such as The Power of Matthew Star, Masquerade, Riptide, Happy Days, The Fall Guy, and 1st and Ten. In 1987, Lang joined B&B’s inaugural cast, then the newest daytime soap opera on the CBS network.
Lang has remained with the series ever since. Brooke’s love affair with Forrester scion Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has proven extremely popular with fans. (Check out her recent reunion with former Ridge, Ron Moss.) Of course, the pair has been embroiled in numerous triangles throughout the years, with the one involving Brooke, Taylor Hayes, and Ridge.
Her other acting credits include episodes of Neighbours, Isidingo, and The Young and the Restless (where she played both a character named Gretchen and Brooke Logan), roles in films such as Evilspeak, Desperate Lives, and The Night Stalker, as well as the made-for-TV movie Subliminal Seduction.
Lang has also appeared in a number of foreign reality TV programs, including Ballando con le stelle (the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars), Have You Been Paying Attention (a quiz program), and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
