Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is juggling both motherhood in life and a front-burner storyline at work on The Bold and the Beautiful. Finding time to work out and making sure she spends time with her son, Rise, isn’t easy, but she’s gotten creative and makes it all work.
Check out the Instagram video below in which Wood can be seen with Rise, family dog Ja’mie, and a videographer going on a hike.
The video also shows Wood incorporating her son into her workouts. And, at the end of the video, you can see Rise smile into the camera as he leans into his mom for a hug!
“It’s tough getting to the gym when you have a baby,” Wood posted. “When you have some time to yourself. You go through the mental checklist of all the things you should be getting done. Sometimes the gym is the last thing on that list. BUT part of my weekly rituals is to get out into nature ..beach/hike etc. It’s been nice to incorporate my workouts with my family while being outside.”
Friends and fans chimed in on Wood’s post including her one-time leading man Don Diamont (Bill), who posted in jest: “That’s it???😂”
Wood joined BB in 2008 as Steffy Forrester, namesake of her grandmother Stephanie (Susan Flannery). Last year, Wood took home the gold in the race for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
