Like her on-screen alter-ego, Shauna Fulton, on The Bold and the Beautiful, Denise Richards is a thoughtful mom. The actress recently took to social media to celebrate her daughter, Sam, on a special milestone!
“Can’t believe my beautiful baby girl is 17!!!!” Richards wrote of her daughter, Sam, with actor Charlie Sheen (Two and A Half Men). “Time flies by so fast, so amazed the beautiful young woman you’ve become.
Although a part of me would give anything to have those years back when you were little. I cherish those precious moments. I love you so much Sami girl. I’m so proud of you. You’re beyond beautiful inside and out and so compassionate. I love you my Sami💕 Happy Birthday 🎂.”
Check out the slide show Richards shared in her Instagram post below, featuring Sam throughout the years. The birthday girl landed on the cover of People magazine along with her proud parents shortly after her birth! (How many people can say that?)
Like her famous parents, Sam has some performing credits on her resume. In 2004, she played the daughter of Richards’ character Lisa on Two and a Half Men. The episode was titled Yes, Monsignor. The story involved Charlie (Charlie Sheen) running into Lisa, an ex-girlfriend, now a single mom.
The episode was directed by Pamela Fryman, a former director on the daytime serial Santa Barbara. The episode’s story was by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn; Jeff Abugov and Susan Beavers did the teleplay.
Sam also appeared as herself in the reality TV series on which her mom starred, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and in the 2008 reality series Denise Richards: It’s Complicated.
Soap Hub joins Richards in wishing Sam a happy birthday and many happy returns. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
