There may be a new RJ Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, but Anthony Turpel isn’t letting that slow him down. And, today, the actor has a big reason to celebrate.
Happy Birthday, Anthony Turpel
That’s because he was born on January 26, 2000, in Los Angeles, California, which means that this talented actor is turning 24 years old today! Having decided that he wanted to be an entertainer at the age of 5, Turpel joined the cast of many school musicals despite admitting later that he was a terrible singer.
In a bid to find free acting classes, the young thespian would recite a monologue from the film Field of Dreams, and after one such audition, he landed himself an agent. In quick order, he began booking roles on nationally aired commercials for products and businesses like Dodge and Jack-in-the-Box.
In 2015, he made appearances on Comedy Bang! Bang!, Henry Danger, Life in Pieces, and Future Shock. One year later, he was cast as Ridge Forrester Jr. on the CBS daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.
His debut aired on September 14, 2016, and he remained in the part until February 12, 2018, at which point RJ moved to Paris, France with his older brother Rick Forrester and (now former) sister-in-law Maya Avant.
Subsequent to his departure, Turpel appeared in two episodes of the FOX procedural 9-1-1, and he had a recurring role on the Netflix original series No Good Nick and also Love, Victor. More recently, he can be found in the film Baby Blue and an episode of Quantum Leap.
