The Biberty Boy is back! Just in time for his Bold and the Beautiful character Finn to learn whether or not he’s Luna’s father, Tanner Novlan had a hilarious interaction with a two-year-old in real life. Well, not really real life, but another Liberty Mutual commercial. Novlan once again initiated some knee-slapping humor to the delight of his fans.
The Biberty Baby Has Arrived
On Instagram, Novlan shared his latest commercial with the caption, “It’s biberty, baby.” In the usual spot on a platform overlooking the Hudson River with the Statue of Liberty in the background, Novlan is seated on a bench reading a newspaper. Next to him is a woman with a baby in a carriage that says in a cute voice, “Liberty.” Novlan interrupts and states, “Hey kid, it’s pronounced biberty.” The two go back and forth as Novlan tries to correct the child, even enunciating, “Bih-ber-tee!”
After a while, Novlan gets frustrated and states, “Now she’s mocking me, very mature.” The mother intervenes and says, “Hey, that’s enough, you two.” Novlan responds, “Hey, I’m not the one acting like a total baby.” Incredulous, the mother looks at him and simply explains, “She’s 2.” Novlan’s fans loved the commercial with one replying, “Best Biberty yet!”

Fans Love the Biberty Vibes
When you see Novlan’s Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan on B&B, comedy doesn’t immediately come to mind. He’s usually very serious and focused, with very little clowning around. However, in his other famous gig, Novlan has another fan base where he hilariously mispronounces everything and calls the company Liberty Biberty. One Instagram fan noted the differences, remarking, “When I saw that the first time I was so glad to see you back!!! You’re so funny on the LM commercials; such a different vibe from Finn.”
But Novlan enjoys the recognition he gets because of the commercials, and even has a line of Liberty Biberty merch that he and his wife are selling. Ironically, another fan’s father had been talking about Novlan’s commercial, and the fan wrote: “My dad was just saying he missed the ‘liberty, biberty’ commercial! Lol.” (Find out what the fans had to say about the Finn/Luna debacle.)
