Soap Veteran Crystal Chappell Shares Devastating Loss

Beloved soap star Crystal Chappell portrayed Danielle Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful. She also had roles on All My Children, Santa Barbara, One Life to Live, Guiding Light, and Days of our Lives. The three-time Daytime Emmy award-winning actress shared a very personal loss.

Crystal Chappell: Goodbye To An Angel

Chappell posted a sad announcement on social media alongside a beautiful photo of herself hugging her mother when they were younger, which you can see below. “On this day, my beautiful Mother decided to become an Angel…I’ll miss her on this plane…but she will forever be my guide. Until we meet again…” The actress added, “She was fierce, devoted, way before her time, smart, unsure of herself at times but committed to learning…I have no doubt she will continue to guide me…love you Momma!”

Friends and former co-stars reached out to the actress and producer with loving words of condolence as she grieves her significant loss. Community star Yvette Nicole Brown responded, “Sorry for your loss. I fully understand.” Former One Life to Live castmate Hillary B. Smith, who has worked with Chappell on a few projects, was quick to send comfort her way. “Sending all my love to you!”

Glee actress and former Days of our Lives co-star Dot Marie Jones sent her condolences. “SENDING SO MUCH LOVE.” Another Salem resident and fellow Venice the Series castmate, Cady McClain, sent some love her way. “Hugs…”
