Joe Lando, who starred as Judge Craig McMullen on The Bold and the Beautiful and as Jake on One Life To Live, took to Instagram to share that his home was burned down completely in the wildfires that are devastating California.
A Total Loss
The actor shared a video with the caption, “Palisades devastation.💔”
In the video, Lando share, “I just wanted to let everybody know who’s been reaching out and trying to find out how things are with us here in the Palisades, the Lando family is intact.” [which includes the family’s dogs and two birds]
Lando got choked up as he continued, “Thankfully, there are angels in this world. We were left with nothing except each other. My friend Jane Seymour allowed us to come up to her house and opened it up.”
The actor said, “I’ve never been through anything like this. It’s indescribable.”
Lando and Seymour starred on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman on CBS from 1993 to 1998.
HIS former co-star Adam Kaufman replied, “Ah, Joe man, it’s Adam Kaufman. We worked together years ago with Jane on that Hallmark movies. I lived in the Palisades for a little over 12yrs. Moved out in ’19. My older son is at Pali high (junior). It’s devastating. Everyone I know has lost their homes. There just aren’t any words. It was a magical town. People will hear the stories. It wasn’t just a town of wealthy people. So many hard working middle class & upper middle class people have lost everything. I’m around La still if you need anything.”
Many others also replied, offering prayers, well wishes, and thoughts. You can see the full video below. Our hearts are with Lando and all the others who’ve lost their homes in the Los Angeles wildfires.
