Sheila Carter has been causing chaos in Genoa City and Los Angeles for years. As one of the most notorious villains on CBS daytime, she has alienated everyone—except Deacon Sharpe. Throughout decades of manipulation and evil moves, Sheila managed to keep herself alive.
And while she’s on her best behavior now, there’s no forgetting what she has done on The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. Here are some of the worst things Sheila Carter has done while appearing on the CBS soaps.
Sheila Carter Torments Lauren Fenmore
On Y&R, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) relentlessly tormented Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman). She was obsessed with her, taking things to the next level.
Aside from attempting to kill Lauren on multiple occasions, Sheila took it too far when she swapped out Lauren’s newborn for a baby she found on the black market. She passed off Lauren’s son as her own, which helped her achieve her goal of winning over Scott Grainger (Peter Barton).
After Lauren’s “son” dies of meningitis, Sheila’s life begins to unravel. The baby she raised was returned to Lauren.
Sheila Attempts to Kill her Mother
Her mother, Molly (Marilyn Alex), was ready to tell Lauren the truth about the baby, but not before Sheila got to her. She kidnapped Lauren and Molly, taking them to the Michigan farmhouse. Unfortunately, a fire broke out when the women struggled, leaving them trapped in the burning home.
Sheila was able to make it out alive, but was presumed dead. Lauren and Molly survived after Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) found and rescued them.
Shot Her Son and Daughter-In-Law
When Sheila Carter returned to B&B, she revealed herself as Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) biological mother. Despite knowing how the Forresters felt about her, she desperately wanted to be part of his life.
Finn married Steffy (Jacqueline MasInnes Wood), and things went awry when she put her foot down about him being in contact with Sheila. Behind Il Giardino, she shot Finn and Steffy, leaving them both for dead. Finn was presumed dead for months while Li (Naomi Matsuda) nursed him back to health.
Sheila didn’t give up, though. She hopes to one day have a relationship with Finn and her grandson, Hayes.
Sheila Shoots and ‘Kills’ Taylor
While Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) may still be alive and well on B&B, there was a time when she “died” after being shot by Sheila. After holding Eric (John McCook) and Taylor hostage, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) walked into the room, and after a struggle, both Taylor and Brooke were shot. The latter recovered, but Taylor “died.”
That was 20 years ago, but the fact remains that Sheila has terrorized the Forresters over and over again.
There is a long history of struggles with the Forresters, including a hostage situation. Sheila held several members of the Forrester family hostage, including Stephanie (Susan Flannery), Eric, Brooke, Lauren, and more.
Sheila Convinced Sugar to Undergo Plastic Surgery
Despite Sugar (Robin Mattson) being an ally for Sheila during her earlier years, after she wreaked havoc on the Forresters, Sheila turned on her.
She convinced Sugar to undergo plastic surgery and had the doctor make the two look identical. It was how she was able to escape prison. Sheila betrayed her trust and used her for her freedom, which came back to bite her when Sugar appeared in Los Angeles and attempted to kill Steffy. Instead, Steffy killed her.
