A newcomer to daytime will be joining The Bold and the Beautiful for an episode. The soap enjoys having guest stars, which is like icing on the already awesome cake. Not only will veteran character actor Clint Howard be appearing on the April 26 episode, so will daytime newcomer, Juliet Vega. Having fan favorite Sean Kanan as your stepdad makes the cake metaphor even sweeter.
Kanan is married to Vega’s mom, Michele, and while he brought his daughter Simone into the relationship, Vega also has three siblings: her twin sister Annie, brother Peter, and sister Gigi. Although having only been in a couple of short films and some TV appearances, Vega has some serious street cred. She’s appeared in her stepdad’s Emmy-winning series, Studio City, and has an upcoming movie titled Waltzing with Brando (no, not Brando Corbin from General Hospital), which boasts a stunning cast that includes Richard Dreyfuss, Billy Zane, Tia Carrere, Jon Heder and more.
She also appeared in the 2023 horror flick, Til Death Do Us Part, which was directed by Timothy Woodward Jr., who also directed quite a few episodes of Studio City. And with her dad being a soap opera superstar, Vega has some major inspiration to succeed because her mom Michele is also an Emmy-winning writer/producer for that streaming series.
In a twist that’s less ironic and more a tribute, her B&B character will be named Michele, after her real-life mom. Details of the plot have not been released yet, so it’s just speculation at this point whether she’ll have scenes with Howard’s new character Tom or Kanan’s Deacon Sharpe, but our fingers are crossed that it’s both!
