Romy Park is certainly mired in family drama on The Bold and the Beautiful as her character Poppy’s long-ago dalliance with adopted nephew Finn has been revealed. What little inroads she made in patching up her relationship with her sister Li have been shattered. It doesn’t help that she and Finn’s love child turned out to be a homicidal maniac. But in real life, Park has much happier news which she shared on social media.

They Called It Puppy Love

Posting several pictures of two adorable Pomeranians on Instagram, Park wrote, “It’s with great joy that I welcome brother and sister Mikhail “Misha” Bearyshnikov and Margot “Daisy” Pawnteyn. Mikhail Baryshnikov is affectionately called ‘Misha’ by family and friends. Margot Fonteyn’s real name is (Dame) Margaret Evelyn de Arias.” Her post also included pics of the famous ballerinas she mentioned; Baryshnikov, who was a Russian dancer that defected to the US in 1974, and English Ballerina, de Arias. (Find out how Park wowed her fans with her own dance skills.)

She continued: “Daisy is a nickname for Margaret (although not for Fonteyn), but the name Daisy has special meaning for me. It was my childhood cat’s name and I also danced as a daisy in my first ballet recital when I was 8 yrs old. To @goodgriefcharliebrown and his wife Lauren, thank you for introducing me to your friend whose Pom had a litter.”

Friends Fur-ever

She also thanked a woman named Kimberly as well as co-star Naomi Matsuda who plays Li, continuing, “Much gratitude to @kyokaidragon and @naomimatsudaofficial who were both aware that this was not an easy decision for me, but know my endless capacity to give love and that being a dog mom gives me a sense of purpose & encouraged me to take the leap.”

Her post ended on a somber and bittersweet note as she mentioned her former pets who’ve passed away: “My babies Versace and Bear are looking down from Rainbow Bridge in Heaven and thrilled that I’m growing the pack and are watching over their brother and sister with endless love. ❤️” Her followers were truly moved as one exemplified the overall fan reaction with, “I am sooooo happy for you Romy – can’t put it in words 💖🫶🏼.”
