New Year, New RJ Forrester
Executive producer and Head Writer, Bradley Bell, recently told TV Insider that R.J.’s presence is part of a push to highlight the next generation of Forresters and Spencers. That means we can expect Will (Crew Morrow) and R.J. to go head-to-head. After all, their parents are already doing so. Earlier this week, Bill (Don Diamont) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) battled it out in the wake of Liam’s (Scott Clifton) ability to snag the rights to the Logan name for Katie (Heather Tom).
“We will have another Spencer/Forrester rivalry with Will and R.J.,” Bell teased. “So that’s going to be some fun. Years ago, when R. J. and Will were born, we thought, ‘Well, we’re never going to be around to see these guys acting as adults against one another,’ and here we are.”
About R.J.
RJ Forrester is the son who connects Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester. He was born in 2004. In 2023, the character returned to Los Angeles as a social media star of sorts. He quickly rediscovered his designing talents and hitched his wagon to Forrester Creations. That’s where he met new intern Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).
Luna and R.J.’s relationship started innocently enough, but it would soon be clear that there was more to Luna. Way more. The character actually had an intensely destructive dark side. Ultimately, her devious ways were too much for the young Forrester. And besides, Luna had bigger fish to fry.
The character wasn’t around for many of her vengeful tactics. But now that Luna’s dead, it’s safe for R.J. to return.

A variety of different actors have played R.J. over the years. But now it’s Brayan Nicoletti’s turn to step into the legacy character’s designer shoes. The actor has appeared in theater productions and short films. In 2024, he played Anthony in a movie called Woodbridge. This is Nicoletti’s first foray into daytime television.
