Rebecca Budig Questions Taylor’s Rekindled Friendship With Brooke on Bold and the Beautiful

“Friendship” isn’t the first word that comes to mind when thinking about Brooke and Taylor on The Bold and the Beautiful. These two have long been enemies on the soap. Some would agree that Ridge is to blame for putting that wedge between them. There was a time when Taylor and Brooke could’ve become best friends. Unfortunately, that didn’t last long, and Rebecca Budig also had questions about their relationship. 

Friends Again?

At one time, Krista Allen’s version of Taylor 2.0 struck up a friendship with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). The two agreed not to fight over Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) anymore. Instead, they rooted for one another to find love with other men. Brooke was the only one who took it one step further. She went on a brief date with Hollis (Hollis Chambers). Though there were no sparks between them, she did feel better about herself. 

Brooke and Taylor even had sleepovers. Their strange friendship had many B&B fans buzzing about Braylor’s insane chemistry. Alas, their friendship fell apart, and so did Allen’s version of Taylor.

Frenemies

Enter Rebecca Budig’s version of Dr. Taylor Hayes. She fit well into the role. There’s also no question about her undeniable chemistry with Thorsten Kaye. Taylor and Brooke agreed to become friends again. But their friendship hit another road bump after Taylor’s intimate spiritual healing session with Ridge.

Budig even has questions about Taylor’s relationship with Brooke. In her interview with Soaps.com, she wondered what to call them. 

“I guess you’d say they’re frenemies?” Budig asked. “As you get older, you’re just like, ‘I don’t have time for that person!'” The All My Children alum understands that they just can’t drop each other. She only hopes that the ladies will find a way to make their relationship work.

Taylor credits Ridge for helping her get through her illness with broken heart syndrome. It’s obviously brought them closer together. Brooke and Taylor will continue to push and pull Ridge along for the ride. Who will he end up with in this latest fight?
