Sheila Carter, played by Kimberlin Brown, has literally been getting away with murder since soon after moving to Bold and the Beautiful over 30 years ago. Has she done so again with the untimely deaths of Tom and Hollis? Brown recently shared why Sheila’s guilt or innocence may not be an issue.

Is anyone surprised that Sheila is the “go to” person in terms of suspect when someone pops up dead? Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Li (Naomi Matsuda), and Finn (Tanner Novlan) all seem to think so. While Sheila doesn’t care much for Li or Steffy’s opinions, she does feel badly that Finn is suspicious of his birth mom.
“Sheila was really counting on Finn to say something in a positive vein. I guess she should have known that would have never happened with Steffy in the room,” Brown told Soap Opera Digest. “Finn made a definite clear choice. Right in front of Sheila. And it was very hurtful.”
Guilty or innocent of committing these particular deaths doesn’t really play a role in the grand scheme of things, Brown feels. “It just shows once again, it doesn’t really matter what Sheila does, if it’s good, or not. If it’s good, they look the other way. All they see is the Sheila of the past,” Brown says. “They don’t see the Sheila of the present. That’s something Sheila brought on herself. We’re all free to make decisions in life, but we’re not free to escape the consequences of those decisions. That being said, Sheila has a lot of stuff to make up for.”
If Kimberlin Brown knows whether or not Sheila has killed again, she’s not saying. “I obviously can’t tell you what Sheila did or didn’t do,” the actress hedges. “Remember, everything that Sheila does, she does for the people that she loves. So, it could be just a matter of time before you see the old Sheila reveal herself yet again.”
