As Thomas Forrester, Pierson Fodé saw his share of romantic action on Bold and the Beautiful. Now, the actor is headed to the big screen to help tell a story that’s all about finding love.
Fodé, a Daytime Emmy nominee for his turn as Thomas Forrester, has been, according to Deadline, cast in a role in Bumble. The movie is inspired by the story of Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of dating app Bumble.
The B&B alum will be playing a love interest of Herd’s. Former Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens (ex-Matthew Crawley) is playing another love interest.
Herd launched Bumble after her exit from Tinder, an app she cofounded. She became one of the youngest self-made billionaires at the age of 31.
In addition to his tenure on B&B as Thomas, Fodé’s credits include the comedy movie The Man from Toronto, which starred funnyman Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson (Cheers).
Pierson Fodé has a trio of other movies in production: Marshmallow, a horror flick, 72 Hours, which will also star Cam Gigandet (ex-Daniel, Young and the Restless); and a romantic thrilled Drop Queens.
