Deacon and Sheila's wedding begins.
Somehow, the crack staff at Il Giardino threw together Deacon and Sheila’s last-minute wedding. During The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Thursday, May 23 episode, the crew also managed to stay open so Finn could drive from Malibu to Beverly Hills to order pizza. As a result, Finn was able to serve as an unintentional wedding crasher at his mom’s nuptials (technically, he’s still loyal). This was Sheila’s idea of the best gift ever.
It was Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) wedding. Il Giardino’s outdoor patio was all decked out for the festivities, and the bride and groom got ready to say “I do.” Hope (Annika Noelle) told Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she decided to attend the wedding. She wanted to be there to support her dad. It had nothing to do with Sheila. Out at Steffy and Finn’s place, they arranged for Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) and Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinlay) to have a play date, which meant Liam (Scott Clifton) joined them. Finally, the ceremony, which Deacon’s friend Tom (Clint Howard) was officiating, started. Suddenly, the twist happened. (Find out what’s happening on tomorrow’s B&B here)
Hope gets ready to attend Deacon and Sheila’s wedding. She tells Brooke that she decided to go expressly to support her father. That’s all there is to it. Nothing more.
Brooke sounds a lot like Steffy when she reminds her daughter of the other side of the argument. She can’t believe that Hope is willing to stand there and witness her dad marry that monster. After all Sheila has hurt her entire family!
At Il Giardino, Sheila gets ready for her big moment. She’s doing a lot of smiling.
She looks at a photo of Finn, which means, she wishes he could be there for her.
Deacon comes in. They don’t need to adhere to superstition. Sheila claims she doesn’t believe in bad luck. Deacon thinks she looks amazing. All of her — including her nine toes. But he can tell she misses Finn and she wants him there. It’s the only thing that is missing for her.
Liam joins Steffy and Finn and, of course, they can’t stop talking about Deacon and Sheila’s wedding. Liam wants to know what Finn’s thinking about it all. After some awkwardness, Finn leaves to go get pizza.
Deacon has Il Giardino all decked out. He’s looking at the desserts, and points, out the toe-shaped dessert. Nice touch.
Deacon tells his friend Tom to try out the toe. And he takes him up on it. Doesn’t seem like he minds it.
Hope arrives and Deacon is ecstatic that his daughter shows up for him.
Hope then goes and lets Sheila know they’re ready to start. She also warns her almost step-monster that she better not hurt her dad.
Sheila knows how difficult this is for Hope but she’s happy she’s there. And she will protect and love his heart with everything she has.
The wedding starts. And Sheila has a big smile on her face as she walks down the aisle.
Deacon looks at Sheila with love and wonder as she walks closer and closer to their new life together.
Tom starts the ceremony. He recognizes that it’s a small gathering. A very small gathering. But that doesn’t matter here.
Deacon explains to Sheila that Tom is the friend that helped him and Finn rescue her in that abandoned building. Sheila hugs Tom.
Finn all of a sudden shows up at Il Giardino. HIs intention is to order pizza but, instead, he stumbles upon Deacon and Sheila’s wedidng out back.
Sheila spots him from afar. She’s so happy to see her son there right at Il Giardino.
She goes over and hugs Finn and expresses how thankful she is that he came after all. The End.
