Bold and the Beautiful Photo Recap: Big Results and Big Decisions

The Bold and the Beautiful delivered a couple of big moments in its Wednesday, June 5 episode. Fans finally received the answer to a question being bantered about for months and months: “Who’s Luna’s father?” And after yesterday, another question arose: Who will help Steffy run Forrester Creations?” Well, that answer is this close to being answered by someone we suspected.

While Hope (Annika Noelle) attempted to talk Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) into taking a leadership role at Forrester Creations, again, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood — who’s presenting at the Emmys this Friday) wondered who in the company could step up and be her new co-CEO now that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is taking a step back to focus on designing their couture line. Initially, she posed the question to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). But Ridge had his own ideas. Meanwhile, Li (Naomi Matsuda) administered the DNA test at Bill’s (Don Diamont — who reacts to the paternity shocker here) house. Li, Poppy (Romy Park), Bill, and Luna (Lisa Yamada) waited for the results.

Hope continues to prop her mom’s greatest hits at Forrester Creations. She even calls her an icon.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy can’t believe Ridge didn’t back her up on kicking Hope for the Future to the curb. She’s a little bit shocked at his decision.
Ridge heads from Forrester to see Brooke at Eric’s. Brooke thanks him for defending her daughter.
When Hope leaves, he starts talking to Brooke about Forrester.
At Bill’s, Li’s administered the DNA test and it’s time for the results. She hesitates on announcing the results.
Poppy gets impatient and grabs the stick from her sister.
Then Poppy hands it to Bill who looks at the result and hands it to Luna.
Finally, they all realize that Bill is Luna’s father. Li can’t believe it.
Both Bill and Luna are beyond happy that they are father and daughter.
At Forrester, Steffy and Carter talk about the situation. Steffy knows she could lead FC on her own, but says she has a lot going on. She suggests Carter as her co-CEO.
Carter passes saying he has enough on his plate being COO.
Hope arrives and she and Steffy once again get into it. Hope continues to hype Brooke’s qualifications and leadership experience. Steffy isn’t impressed.
Ridge suggests to Brooke that somebody needs to step up and help Steffy now that he’s scaling back on the administrative duties. He says there’s only one person he can think of who could do it so seamlessly.
And that person is Brooke. Brooke can’t believe what she just heard!
After Bill dismisses Li, he, Poppy, and Luna experience their very first group family hug.
However, Poppy relays her guilt that she didn’t tell Bill and Luna before. She can’t believe that because of her they lost so many years as a family. She asks for their forgiveness.
Bill admits he never called. So of course he forgives her. And Luna forgives her mom. She says this is what she’s hoped for ever since she heard about their one perfect night..
Then the episode ends on this new instant family. What drama awaits them? Katie?
