Passport Twist: Who’s to Blame on the July 30 Bold and the Beautiful — Hope or Steffy?

Steffy and Hope found themselves at odds again. This time, a trip to Monte Carlo was at stake. First, Steffy refused to back down on her stance that she and her dad should be the only ones going to Monte Carlo for Brooke’s Bedroom Line event. Second, she and Hope continued to bicker. In the end, a distracted Steffy left her passport on her desk. Hope attempted to race it to her rival before she left. Unfortunately, she was too late. Did she try hard enough? Who’s to blame here?

Passport Gate

It’s no wonder Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) forgot her passport. She spent her time multitasking — she prepared for the trip to Monte Carlo, and she vented over the fact that she didn’t want Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang — who recently celebrated a birthday) tagging along on her trip with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Plus, she may have thrown in some mumbled Brooke insults for full effect.

Meanwhile, Hope (Annika Noelle) couldn’t stop propping up her mama and telling her how she deserved to go on this trip. Then, she had the audacity to suggest to the co-CEO of Forrester Creations that she should sit this trip out and let Brooke and Ridge handle it all by their lonesome. That way, they can have a romantic trip as well.

Both women stuck to their own agendas. And it resulted in a serious faux pas that climaxed at the Forrester elevator. Late to the airport to meet her dad and Brooke, Steffy was in rush mode. Subsequently, she accidentally left her passport behind. Hope spotted it and ran to the elevator to hand it off to Steffy. However, Steffy didn’t want to hear anything from Hope, so she told her to drop it, and the elevator doors closed. Later, at the hangar, Steffy rummaged through her bags while Captain Deuce Stevens (Tom Arnold) kept an eye on his watch.

Did Hope do everything she could to get Steffy her passport? Did Steffy bring this faux pas onto herself? Furthermore, was Hope gloating over Steffy’s inability to go to Monte Carlo after all too far? It’s not over yet. Steffy will continue to interact with the goofy captain during Wednesday’s episode. @GinaBeana365 thinks Hope did everything she needed to do to get Steffy her passport. No need to feel guilty or anything. “Eh, I would’ve yelled out about the passport, but Hope ran after and held it up at the elevator, so she tried. Pretty basic mishap.”

Same with @your_soulmate96 who wrote, “Well Hope did try to give Steffy the passport. Can’t be mad at that #BoldandBeautiful.”

Here’s one for Team Steffy. @Callie617 said, “#BoldandBeautiful Hope all you had to do was give Steffy her passport. Why run after her then ?you were looking for any excuse not to give it to her you are dirty .”

@AngelXOXO33 had a simple solution for Brooke’s daughter. “Hope just take the next elevator down #BoldandBeautiful” Yeah, Hope. Why didn’t you?

According to @MarkBaker38, the fault lies solely in Steffy’s corner. “You only have yourself to blame, Steffy. So of course, you’ll blame everyone but yourself…#BoldandBeautiful”

@_chickmonkey is thinking logically, saying, “Steffy and Finn both have $$ you telling me she can’t get to Monaco without the Forrester Jet? I et even Bill would loan her his jet to get there #bolanbeautiful.”

Finally, @SpoonyLupin wants to know something. “I still don’t understand why Hope didn’t take Steffy being gone as an opportunity to put the moves on Finn. #BoldanBeautiful”
