Naomi Matsuda plays the strong-willed Li on The Bold and the Beautiful. The doctor has proven she will go above and beyond to protect her family. Li’s fierce protectiveness will be needed once again when the Finnegans face another risk.
Danger Alert
The Finnegan family has been put through many dangerous ordeals. Their troubles began with the arrival of Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) birth mother Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). The notorious villain caused much drama as she wormed her way into Finn’s life.
But Sheila wasn’t the only threat. Luna (Lisa Yamada) showed her wicked ways by kidnapping Finn’s wife, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Steffy almost suffered the same fate as Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) until Finn rescued her.
Things were going peacefully for the Finnegans following Luna’s arrest, but recent events have changed everything. Luna’s release from prison and the revelation that she’s Finn’s daughter pose more trouble.
According to Matsuda, trouble could be happening sooner rather than later. On Instagram, the actress posted a photo of Li with the caption, “Dr. li Finnegan carefully watching Finn to make sure he makes good choices for the sake of his family…is danger truly ahead?”
Li has every right to be concerned about her family’s safety. With Luna on the loose and proving to be just like Grandma Sheila, everyone is at risk.
Although Li and Steffy warned Finn to stay away from Luna, he’ll make the same mistake he did with Sheila. Despite her crimes, Finn can’t turn his back on his daughter. Luna will use this to her advantage when she pleads with Finn to give her a chance.
If Finn allows Luna into his life, he’s opening up potential danger for himself and his family. Matsuda’s Li will have her work cut out for her trying to protect her family from Luna.
