Li and Poppy’s feud isn’t ending anytime soon on The Bold and the Beautiful. Luna’s death has the sisters once again at odds. During their recent confrontation, Naomi Matsuda improvised to give the scene more flair.
Push In The Right Direction
Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) death has left the Nozawa/Finnegan family with mixed emotions. Li (Matsuda) is upset over her niece/granddaughter’s passing. However, Luna’s mother, Poppy (Romy Park) seemed happy when she heard the news.
Poppy’s lack of grief over Luna’s death infuriated Li. Unable to hold her tongue, Li got Poppy alone and confronted her sister about her behavior. Poppy defended herself by saying she was relieved Luna was gone because her daughter was a murderer. Li didn’t hold back in telling Poppy that it was her fault Luna turned into a bad person.
It was a tense scene, one that was made better by a gesture by Matsuda. On Park’s Instagram story, the actress revealed that Matsuda improvised the push Li gave Poppy when they entered the room.
While some stars might dislike their castmates improvising, it was the opposite for Park. “It was perfect and I LOVE IT 😂,” the actress captioned the clip.
Park also expressed praise for Matsuda. “Love working with my ‘big sis’ ❤️,” she wrote.

While Matsuda and Park are close off set, onscreen the rift between Li and Poppy is increasing.
The Nozawa sisters are bound to have more arguments in the aftermath of Luna’s death. Tensions will further increase if Poppy discovers that Li is hiding Luna.
Whatever’s in store for Li and Poppy, there’s no doubt that Matsuda and Park will knock it out of the park.
