Bold and the Beautiful Comings & Goings: Matthew Atkinson Is Back

It looks like there’s Hope for Hope’s future with Thomas, played by Matthew Atkinson. The actor appears to be back at the Bold and the Beautiful studios, presumably ready to reprise his part as the Forrester heir and Hope’s arguable obsession.

Doubting Thomas Forrester

Atkinson teased that we might be seeing Thomas again by sharing an image in his Instagram stories. In a photo, the actor can be seen pointing to a TV screen behind him that’s showing a scene from B&B. It appears that Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) is in a scene in Eric’s (John McCook) office.

While it could be the actor was simply at home watching the show and grabbed an image, Soap Hub hears that the actor is coming back to the show and viewers will see him on-screen sometime in mid-June.

Thomas opted to leave Los Angeles in late March and go to Paris with his son Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) after Hope turned him down one too many times. This isn’t the first time that Thomas had left town. He moved to New York after breaking up with Sally (Courtney Hope) in order to be near Caroline (Linsey Godfrey, now, Sarah on Days of our Lives) and their son, Douglas.

There’s no word on what took Atkinson off the canvas. His IMDB page doesn’t list any upcoming projects. Perhaps he was on a honeymoon with his bride, Brytnee Ratledge? (Read about the actor’s wedding from last November here.)

A lot can happen between now and next month when we see Matthew Atkinson as Thomas back on our screens. Might Hope (Annika Noelle) reunite with her former husband Liam (Scott Clifton), prompting Thomas to come back and fight for the woman he loves? Will Douglas need help from a family member? Could a family or Forrester Creations crisis bring Thomas back to the scene? Stay tuned to find out.
