As Megan Conley, a Forrester Creations executive assistant, Maeve Quinlan spent a lot of time cleaning up Brooke’s messes on The Bold and the Beautiful. Now, she’s gone abroad to deal with the mystery of My Father’s Murder in Greece.
Murder Most Foul
“This one was a special one to shoot,” Quinlan posted on Instagram, “with the most talented actors and most amazing producers, director, and crew!!! Oh, and the location wasn’t so bad either.”
My Father’s Murder in Greece tells the story of a woman named Allie (Cass Huckabay) who goes on a trip to Greece with her father, George. Their plan to discover familial roots takes a horrific turn when George is murdered! Allie needs to uncover long-kept family secrets in order to bring her dad’s killer to justice.
Allie is joined by her mother, Catherine, played by Quinlan, as the two women go on a quest to bring the killer of Allie’s dad (and Catherine’s ex) to justice. “Meet Catherine. My latest Save-The-Day-TV-Mom w/ 🏀s of steel,” Quinlan shares on Instagram.
“I’m a professor English professor and my daughter is going off for a father/daughter trip back to Greece,” Quinlan shared in an interview on YouTube with Survived the Shows. “[My ex-husband is] taking his daughter over and I’m very supportive of that. ” After Allie’s dad is found dead, “I have to rush over there to be with my daughter to help,” Quinlan says.
Quinlan shot the film on location last May. The role came shortly after her mother’s passing in April. The mystery movie is written by Richard Pierce (The Boarding School Murders) and is directed by Colin Theys (Stalker’s Prey). My Father’s Murder in Greece airs on Thursday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. Central Time) on LMN AKA Lifetime Movie Network.
