Bold and the Beautiful Alum Kiara Barnes Nabs Seductive New Role on FOX’s Accused

The Bold and the Beautiful alum Kiara Barnes is returning to the small screen. She nabbed another acting role with FOX’s American crime drama Accused.

What Happened to Zoe Buckingham?

It’s been a while since fans saw Barnes on the daytime soap. The last time Zoe appeared was in July 2021. Her sister Paris (Diamond White) told her about Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) affair with Quinn (Rena Sofer), who was married to Eric (John McCook) at the time. Zoe assumed that Carter was sleeping with Shauna (Denise Richards).

Zoe had enough of Los Angeles and the constant drama. She ultimately broke up with Carter and left town. Zoe has been spending time in London with her mother. It’s also likely that Zoe got word about Paris’s surprise engagement to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson).

However, it doesn’t look like Zoe is ever returning to the show. Her character has been written off, even though Paris has returned in some part. Barnes achieved success away from the sudser. She last starred on FOX’s Fantasy Island reboot until its cancellation in 2023.

Seductive New Role

Deadline reported that Barnes is joining the cast of Season 2 of FOX’s Accused. She will take on a new seductive role in the crime drama. Barnes will play the character of Eve. In that episode, a music mogul discovers that her husband has been sleeping with “a beautiful seductress.” 

Barnes would be perfect for the role. Zoe has had her share of hot romances on B&B. Accused is a series about people who get into criminal wrongdoing. Each episode starts with the accused on trial without knowing how they ended up in that situation.

Each season is meant to have a new cast. Barnes will join Jamie Chung, Sonequa Martin-Green, Mike Colter, and Sherri Saum. Accused Season 2 will premiere on Tuesday, October 8, on FOX.
