Brooke versus Stephanie was one of The Bold and the Beautiful‘s epic feuds. While Brooke and Stephanie were enemies, in real life Katherine Kelly Lang and Susan Flannery are friends. Recently, Lang reunited with her former co-star and shared a surprising update about Flannery’s life.
The Big Move
It’s been nearly 13 years since Flannery departed her iconic role as Stephanie. Since then she’s been enjoying retirement and the occasional directorial gig.
Although Flannery has stayed away from the camera, she’s remained in contact with her former castmates. Throughout the years, B&B stars have shared updates and photos of themselves hanging out with Flannery.
Recently, she and Lang reunited for a special occasion.
On Lang’s Instagram story, the actress revealed she attended a farewell party for Flannery, who is moving.
. “Susan’s going away party…she is moving to Australia! We will miss you, Susan!!” Lang captioned a photo of her, Flannery, B&B star Ashley Jones, and their friends from the party.
It was no doubt a jovial, yet bittersweet celebration as Lang said goodbye to her dear friend.

Flannery’s move to Australia is shocking to fans, who hoped she’d one day return as Stephanie. But with Flannery’s daughter and grandchildren living in Australia, it’s understandable how she wants to be closer to family.
Although Flannery will now be living halfway across the world, she and Lang will stay in contact. Maybe if B&B makes a return to Australia again, Flannery will be reunited with the cast and crew.
