We’re not sure where Maya Avant Forrester is these days on Bold and the Beautiful, but her portrayer, Karla Mosley is appearing on stage in the musical, Foxie Ladies, directed by Fritz Brekeller, a Young and the Restless stage manager!

Turn the Beat Around

“I’m celebrating #pride by celebrating the MOST queer decade: the 1970s!!!!!!!!” Mosley exclaimed on Instagram. “So do me a solid and boogie on over the @hollywoodfringe to catch me and 6 other brick houses as we revel in flower power before taking a chill pill at Studio 54. Ya dig?”

Foxie Ladies, says Brekeller, is a “rock and disco revue featuring over 70 of the greatest hits sung by women from the 1970’s and is a pop culture travelogue of the decade as seen through women’s eyes. I’d love for you to come and see it.

Foxie Ladies celebrates the women who defined “The Me Decade.” The show includes over 70 musical numbers featuring songs from Karen Carpenter and Donna Summer and more!

In addition to Mosley, the cast of Foxie Ladies includes Tiffany Brevard, who recurs as a barista at Crimson Lights, and Devan Watring, who can be seen as a server in the Genoa City Athletic Club‘s dining room. The cast also includes Charlotte “Charlo” Crossley, a former Harlette.

Mosley’s already getting rave reviews from her B&B TV sister Reign Edwards (ex-Nicole), Zende’s (Delon de Metz) former wife. “You look stunning sissy,” Edwards told Mosley. “Thank yooooouuuuu!” Mosley responded to her TV sibling.

Recently, a group of Y&R stars turned out to see the show. Check out the post below to see who attended. “We all saw the MOST AMAZING show tonight in LA directed by our own most amazing Fritzie Brekeller at the Hollywood Fringe Festival,” Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) posted.

“It’s a full hour and a half of 70s music and a whole 70s revival including film as well…70s film is the greatest time in cinema!! IMO. This is such a great great GREAT show. I highly recommend,” the actress continued. “We love you Fritzie! Thank you for an amazing night!!”
