It is easily understandable why Hope and Steffy are the focus of what seems like a resurrection of the Forrester versus Logan war. The two women are fierce and formidable. As a bonus, they resent the hell out of each other. However, their latest agendas are not hitting as hard as they should. In the Monday, July 22 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy communicated her anti-Logan sentiments. As for Hope, she attempted to challenge Steffy’s thinking that there was no way she could hurt her. Subsequently, she hit on Finn with no visible proof of success.
Steffy’s Logan-Free Rants
For the last few weeks, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood — here’s what she’s been up to lately) has ranted against the Logan family’s relevance or presence at Forrester. She tried to get rid of Hope for the Future. She rallied against Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) becoming her co-CEO. And any chance she gets, she goes off on Hope and the family. And unlike the past, it’s happening in a not-so-subtle way.
Obviously, we get why she would be anti-Logan. Their families have a lot of bad blood between them. Yet, at some point, you’d think Steffy would just ignore the annoyances of working with family you didn’t choose and get on with the business at hand.
After all, she has a company to co-run. And while she should be worried about the future of HFTF, why rock the boat by trying to eliminate it altogether? Concentrate on Forrester, taking down Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), and her husband’s feelings for his birth mom. Oh, and don’t keep thinking anything about the Logans.
Hope’s Finn Interest
What was going on with Hope (Annika Noelle)? She was in lingerie, hitting on Finn (Tanner Novlan). Basically, she told Finn she had a crush on him and tried her best to throw him off his game. She wanted to get a favorable reaction out of him, and he didn’t budge. Yes, Finn stayed iced cold when it came to fending off Hope’s advances. It was fun to actually see him call out Hope’s motivations at one point. (The latest B&B Comings & Goings)
Where she had better luck was once he found out Sheila was released. That’s a topic where they share similar opinions. This time around, Finn had the sense enough to admit he was wary of Sheila as a whole. But now that he realized the police had let her go, he could admit to wondering what motive Sheila had to kill Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers). He admitted he wouldn’t visit Sheila and that he would adhere to what his wife asked of him.
Honestly, Finn should have walked out the door once he saw Hope in the lingerie making the moves on him. But something continually prevented him from leaving, including the news that the police released Sheila from their custody. They questioned her but saw no reason to officially arrest her.
Quick Observations
Hell froze over — Liam (Scott Clifton) complimented Finn. Something tells us (tomorrow’s teasers) that this little bit of a truce Liam and Finn have might be over sooner rather than later.
Once again — go visit your dad, Hope!
Brooke agreed to be the face of Brooke’s resurrected Bedroom Line. Do you like the fact that she said yes to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye)? What did you think of Steffy and Hope today? Let us know in the comments.
