Bold and the Beautiful July 15: Here’s Why Sheila’s About to Be Falsely Accused of Murder

Sheila is acting odd, of course, but will she ultimately be guilty of this double murder?

The news is out: Hollis the Hot Bartender died mysteriously at Il Giardino in Los Angeles, California. He was young and allegedly healthy, which is why everybody finds it hard to believe that this death was natural. And they’d be right. Because the toxicology report came back and according to Li, Hollis’s death wasn’t natural. Hollis was drugged, and she knows exactly who killed him.

Double Murder WhoDunIt

First and foremost, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is about to be a person of interest in the Il Giardino murders because we know it from the video preview for this week. Steffy calls Chief Baker (Dan Martin) and tells him they must look at the career criminal before anyone else. She works at Il Giardino, plus she married the owner. Sure, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doesn’t have any real proof other than Sheila probably Sheila’d. She slipped and reverted back to her evil self. Or rather, remained her evil self and did what she does best.

Second, there’s motive. Sheila did have a beef with Tom (Clint Howard). He researched her past, and he wasn’t going to shut up about it. Having someone like that around is dangerous because he may speak to the wrong person and get Sheila in trouble. Maybe damning research made it into that backpack—research Sheila doesn’t want to be made public, and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers — who is one of B&B’s recent Comings & Goings) found it. The backpack is the key.

Sheila and Deacon (Sean Kanan) keep talking about how Sheila’s a changed woman. B&B may think putting her through an awful experience like being falsely accused is a way to get her closer to that redemption. That way, she can prove her haters wrong and then get in good with Finn (Tanner Novlan) once and for all. He’ll do whatever it takes to save her from a life in prison, right?

Accusing Sheila now throws off suspicion from Poppy (Romy Park), Li (Naomi Matsuda), and Jack (Ted King). They brought Jack back for a reason. Falsely accusing Sheila throws the spotlight off of anyone else.

Miscellaneous Thoughts

  • Bill (Don Diamont) said Poppy got in late the other day. Will he do something about his suspicions of her? At the end of the episode, he wondered where she went and looked perplexed.
  • Poppy showing up at the autopsy was hella suspicious. Too suspicious?
  • It’s too bad we never saw Hollis and Luna (Lisa Yamada) actually be friends. There was one scene where they talked about hanging out, but that’s it. (Check out what’s happening on B&B the rest of the week)
  • Why did Hope (Annika Noelle) stick around Forrester to talk to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy when she could have raced over to Il Giardino to be with her father?
  • What if Sheila really did the bad deeds?
