Is Matthew Atkinson returning to The Bold and the Beautiful as Thomas Forrester? Well, if this game of cornhole means what it looks like, then the answer could be yes.
Matthew Atkinson’s Game of Cornhole
Atkinson grabbed fans’ attention instantly with a new Instagram reel today. In it, he was playing a fun outdoor game — cornhole. However, it wasn’t the game that grabbed attention. It was the location. In the clip, viewers see the B&B logo on the side of a building.
The actor captioned his video, “Second time’s a charm.” You can watch below as his first toss misses, but his second goes right in. Of course, the location may not look too familiar to fans because B&B recently moved to a new studio.
Fans quickly noticed the detail and expressed their hope that it means what they think it means.
“I hope this means Thomas is coming back to Bold and Beautiful, please please please❣️❣️,” wrote one.
Another replied, “Soooooo does this mean I have a reason to tune in again?”
Fans certainly hope it means something positive for Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas. “I hope this means you’re coming back to Bold and Beautiful, you have been missed. We need a Thope reunion!”

Thomas’ Location
The last time Thomas was in Los Angeles, he shocked everyone with his engagement to Paris (Diamond White). He’d left after Hope refused his proposal, telling him she wasn’t ready to commit to marriage. Thomas and Paris moved to Eurpose in July of 2024.
Of course, since then, Hope and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) got engaged, which is likely to irritate Thomas since she’d been unwilling to commit to him. Then, Paris’ mom, Grace (Cassandra Creech), faked Liam’s (Scott Clifton) brain tumor and “cure” recently, which also might be a reason that Thomas and Paris could return to LA.
