Is Hope Using Carter to Secure Her Future at Forrester on Bold and the Beautiful?

Hope wants to secure her future at Forrester Creations. She believes that her couture line has every right to be there. She’s even got one person on her side on The Bold and the Beautiful. During the meeting, Carter defended Hope’s honor. 

Use ‘Em and Lose ‘Em

Hope’s (Annika Noelle) romance with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is already heating up. The two have been in an intense flirtationship. It all started with Carter’s idea for Hope for the Future. He saw the success of Brooke’s Bedroom and felt that lingerie could bring renewed interest into HFTF. 

It was initially an evening gown collection. Hope started the brand with sustainability in mind. She also wanted to create dresses for women who valued purity and wanted to save themselves for marriage, but that message no longer resonates with her. She has had a sexual awakening since her divorce from Liam (Scott Clifton).

Hope will need a new message for Hope for the Future. Sales have been dismal. She’ll do anything to keep her brand around, even if that means starting an office romance with Carter. This could suggest that Hope is using him for her gain. 

It’s not like she can commit. Hope had a romance with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), who was completely devoted to her. He was everything she wanted in a man. He was also willing to commit. 

Hope wasn’t ready. She turned down more than one of his proposals. Carter is already getting smitten with Hope. He can’t stop thinking about her since their last kiss. 

That might be the same for Hope. She’s just enjoying the attention she’s getting at the moment. She’s aware that she can’t get that kind of attention from Finn (Tanner Novlan), especially since he’s married to the enemy. Thomas is in Europe planning his wedding to Paris (Diamond White). This leaves Hope all alone.

Hope is just getting what she wants out of Carter for now. She’s also enjoying the benefits that come along with it. Even that means securing her stay at Forrester Creations. This is a win-win for her. Unfortunately, Carter is just a rebound who will help give her success and the attention she needs.
