Is Hope Turning into Brooke on Bold and the Beautiful? Should She?

Hope Logan, played by Annika Noelle, was thrown for a loop upon finding out that her ex, Thomas, and Paris are engaged to be married on The Bold and the Beautiful. Brooke’s daughter may have to take a page from her mother’s playbook to stop that union!

Brooke for the Future

Daytime TV’s never seen a pluckier heroine than B&B’s Brooke Logan Forrester! She fell in love with Ridge Forrester even before she met him in person at a party that she was helping her mother cater at the Forrester mansion. Ridge’s heart, alas, belong to Caroline (Joanna Johnson). And, after her death, he fell for Taylor (Hunter Tylo).

But that never stopped Brooke from keeping her eye on the prize. Her daughter Hope can win Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) away from Paris (Diamond White) if she follows these simple steps that have served her mother so well.

Thomas Won’t Always Have Paris

If the wedding happens, Hope needs to show up anyway. It’s not official until the “I do’s” are exchanged and there’s always the chance the bride or the groom will get cold feet. Brooke went to Ridge and Caroline’s wedding, secure in her faith that this wasn’t the end. She was right.

Fall for His Dad

Well, this one might be a tad tricky as Thomas’s dad is Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Hope’s stepfather. But it sure worked for Brooke — she fell in love and married Ridge’s pop Eric (John McCook) after Ridge wed Caroline. That led to her working alongside him — sans contract — which led to Brooke leveraging the BeLieF formula to acquire 51% of Forrester Creations stock. Bonus: Brooke and Ridge rekindled their love on the laboratory floor.

Talk about a win/win! If Hope marries a Forrester — any Forrester — she’ll better secure Hope For The Future’s future. There’s nothing wrong with a multi-pronged approach while journeying on the path to love.

Turn on the Waterworks

Hope’s got this down. She knows how to cry. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) mocked Brooke when she’d get all teary-eyed but the men in Brooke’s life would melt when she’d get weepy.

Child’s Play

Hope is little Douglas’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) legal mother. When Brooke thought that Bridget (Ashley Jones) was Ridge’s daughter, she milked that for all it was worth. We’re not advising Hope to manipulate Douglas’s emotions…but if she were to do it, try to find a way that won’t be so obvious.

Meet Your Mother-in-Law

Hope and Taylor (last played by Krista Allen) have pretty much gotten along over the years, but Hope might want to do something to get Taylor to dislike her. Why? It’s quite possible that Brooke was a bit more attractive to Ridge because his mother so intensely disliked her. What can we say? Families are complicated. Relationships are messy.

True Love Wins Out

The one thing that has sustained Brooke’s relationship with Ridge over these many years on Bold and the Beautiful. And that is the fact that she loves him. So, Hope will end up with Thomas if she hangs onto the fact that he’s the man for her and she doesn’t let anything, or anyone stand in her way!

There’s only one Brooke Logan. Perhaps Hope shouldn’t try to be her mother. But if she employs her mother’s methods, she just might end up with the man she loves.
