The Thursday, May 16 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful again dealt with the “Sheila is alive” and the “Is Luna pregnant” stories. At the end of the half-hour, we had wishes and needs. There are things we’d love to see. But, in the interest of drama, we also know we won’t always get what we want.
The Scenario: Poppy (Romy Park) held the pregnancy test, and it took a little time before she told Luna (Lisa Yamada) the results. Luna wasn’t pregnant. Was that a surprise? A little bit. We prepped ourselves for the inevitable Who’s the Daddy scenario between Zende (Delon de Metz) and RJ (Joshua Hoffman). Because of the negative result, Luna rejoiced, and she met RJ at his palatial beach house, where they could finally relax. And she could bask in knowing her life wasn’t changed forever. She and RJ were good to go.
Wish List: The damage is done. Only a few people know, but there’s still drama because of that. Eventually, the secret will emerge, and all hell will break loose again. Let’s just leave it at that. Luna not being pregnant is a beautiful thing.
What Will Happen: The pregnancy test presented a negative, but later on down the road, Luna will find out she is actually preggers. And the Who’s the Daddy scenario is back in play.
The Scenario: Hope (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Annika Noelle) arrived at Deacon’s, where Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) was on her best behavior. Once the resurrected woman left the apartment, Deacon (Sean Kanan) announced that he and Sheila were engaged. On top of this development, he wanted Hope and Finn to be present at the wedding. Actually, he wanted Hope and Finn (Tanner Novlan) to be their wedding party. He said he wanted Hope to stand up for Sheila while Finn would do the same for him. In addition, he wanted his daughter to talk Finn into it.
Wish List: For Hope to say hell no. Deacon can marry Sheila, but she wants no part of it. That is one miracle too many. And if she wants to yell at her dad to snap out of it, we wouldn’t be mad at that.
What Will Happen: Fast-forward to Deacon and Sheila’s wedding, and Hope and Finn will be the only ones in attendance. Can’t Deacon and Sheila just go to Vegas, elope, and let a Fake Elvis be their witness? (Find out what’s happening tomorrow on B&B)
The Scenario: Unfortunately, Brooke (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Katherine Kelly Lang) is one of the only people who knows what happened that fateful night when Luna and Zende slept together. And she’s taking the opportunity to defend her son every chance she gets. First, she confronted RJ, and then, on Thursday, she crossed Poppy off her “yell at” list.
Wish List: Can somebody school Poppy on Brooke Logan Forrester 101? Somebody needs to list all the different ways Brooke has messed up in years past. Brooke has committed a ton of transgressions against her family. While she’s understandably upset that Zende betrayed her boy, she and her hypocritical, condescending tone need to back off. Now. Let’s hope this is all out of her system.
What Will Happen: This will not be out of her system. She’ll continue calling Poppy and Zende out, especially when Ridge finds out.
