How Did Hope Suddenly Fall In Love With Carter on Bold and the Beautiful?

Hope admitted that she was in love with Carter. She calls him the man of her dreams. This is shocking, considering she was in a relationship with Thomas earlier this year. What led to this shocking twist on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Dropping the L-Bomb

During the Wednesday, November 6 episode, Hope (Annika Noelle) said “I love you” back to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). He was the first to confess his feelings for her. Up to this point, Hope didn’t want to rush a relationship with Carter. She didn’t want to make the same mistakes she did in the past by jumping into bed so soon.

Hope claimed that she never had anyone in her corner before. She always felt like she was alone, even when she worked at Forrester Creations. Carter told her that he would not let her fall, and Hope told him that she felt safe in his arms. 

That’s when Carter confessed his feelings for Hope. He told her that he was in love with her. Hope told him that she was in love with him as well. For the first time in her life, she finally felt seen. This is unlike Hope to fall in love suddenly for someone new. She always took her time before saying the “L-word.”

Is it Love…Or Lust?

Hope always had the support of her mom and the Logans. Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) sided with her over his entire family. She wanted a man like Thomas who could offer her an undivided heart. Yet she couldn’t give him what he wanted. 

Hope went after Finn (Tanner Novlan) even though he was married to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). In just a few short weeks, she fell in love with Carter. Hope’s love life got even messier. This poses the question: Does she really love Carter?

Or is this Hope’s way to seduce the COO and use him as revenge? She just lost her job at Forrester Creations. Carter assured Hope that he would fight for her. He also plans to seek revenge on the company. This could be her way to get her line back.
