Wedding bells are ringing for The Bold and the Beautiful couple Hope and Carter. After a few bumps in the road, the couple reconciled and are ready to make it official. While fans are happy for the pair, they’re not so pleased with Carter’s ring choice for Hope.

There’s no denying that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is head over heels in love with Hope (Annika Noelle). He’s ready to settle down and start a family with her. Although Hope was heartbroken by Carter’s betrayal in the Forrester Creations coup, she forgave him and accepted his proposal.
Carter and Hope’s engagement has been the talk of the B&B community. Most of the chatter has been on Hope’s ring, which is a pear and emerald cut diamond on a gold band.
Carter’s ring choice is unique, and its garnered mixed reactions from fans on Reddit. Most reactions were negative towards the ring’s design.
“Yikes! Carter needs Ivy and Electra if this is his pick,” wrote one fan.
“He should’ve gotten his ex Quinn to design a ring for him,” joked another fan.
“It looks like it comes from a bubble gum machine,” another viewer replied.
“Not my style. The two stones don’t really go together. Kind of like their relationship,” one commenter wrote.
However, a few fans loved the ring’s design.
“Looks great,” replied one viewer.
“I like it because it’s different than all the white gold emerald cuts you see nowadays,” wrote one user.
While fans have mixed reactions, the main thing is that Hope likes the ring. Wedding preparations are underway for Cope’s big day, which may not happen. Daphne (Murielle Hillaire) is returning to Los Angeles, and she will cause trouble, especially if she has a little bun in the oven.
