Hope Did Something Steffy’s Never Done Before on Bold and the Beautiful

There was a time when Hope and Steffy were polar opposites. Hope was once seen as the moral compass of The Bold and the Beautiful. Looking back, it’s like seeing a different woman. Meanwhile, Steffy was the sexy woman who had all the men falling in love with her.

Over the past year, Hope has turned into a seductress, while Steffy is a happily married woman. Recently, Hope did something that not even Steffy has ever attempted.

The Perfect Wingwoman

Unlike Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Hope (Annika Noelle) became the perfect wingwoman for her mother. During Thursday’s episode of B&B, Hope told Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she deserves someone better. She wants better for her mom because she’s been through something similar.

Hope wasn’t surprised to hear that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) immediately returned to Taylor (Rebecca Budig). She told her mom that she needed to find a man who was completely devoted to her. However, Brooke has convinced herself that Ridge is her “destiny.”

Meanwhile, Steffy is a terrible wingwoman to her own mother. She’s been pushing for her parents to get back together. Steffy hasn’t realized that Ridge only goes back to her mom when he’s upset with Brooke. Taylor deserves better, and Steffy refuses to see that.

Truth Bombs

During her conversation with Brooke, Hope dropped some truth bombs about “Bridge.” She called out their toxic relationship. She told Brooke that Ridge wouldn’t run to Taylor if he were her really her destiny. This is something he does and that her mom allows.

Hope is no longer a champion for these push-and-pull types of relationships. She went through something similar with Liam (Scott Clifton). Hope ended it when she realized she didn’t want a man with a divided heart. She wanted her mom to do the same.

Steffy could learn from Hope, even if her archenemy’s love life is messy. Yes, there was a time when Hope yearned over Finn (Tanner Novlan), but at least she’s aware enough to know she shouldn’t fight over another man. Steffy needs to realize that her father will cause her mom more hurt.

Who Knew?

Surprisingly, Hope became a truth-teller. If only Steffy could say the same things to her mother. Both Taylor and Brooke deserve better than a chronic waffler who’s juggled them for over 30 years.

The difference between Hope and Steffy is that Steffy is still caught up in the nostalgia of her childhood. She wants her picture-perfect family back together and to get back at the Logans. Hopefully, Brooke will heed Hope’s advice.
