Congratulations to Deacon and Sheila. They got the wedding they wanted during the Friday, May 24 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Both Hope and Finn witnessed the happy couple make their love official. Now that that’s over let the consequences begin. Clearly, Hope and Finn will have to pay for their decisions.
The uncomfortable look on Finn’s face during the ceremony said it all (Check out the first part of the wedding with our photo recap here). He knew what he was doing was in direct opposition to his wife’s wishes. Meanwhile, Hope (Annika Noelle) supported her dad by acting as Sheila’s maid of honor. Both of them had better be confident that their decisions were good ones.
Sure, Finn (Tanner Novlan) didn’t mean to witness the festivities. He simply wanted to pick up his to-go order from the only pizza joint in LA, Il Giardino, because it’s Kelly’s favorite pizza. He didn’t mean to run into the Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) ceremony. After all, they were supposed to have it at the beach. Hope, however, did it all for the love of her father. Hope that will comfort her in the weeks to come.
Because Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had already told anyone who would listen that Hope and her influence better stay away from Finn. So she won’t put any crazy thoughts about the wedding in his head. There’s no way Steffy will let this go without enacting some form of revenge. All she’s done so far is bluster. But from the looks of the preview for next week, she’s about to do much more.
Steffy is about to make an executive decision that might put an end to Hope For the Future for the foreseeable, well, future. She is the boss, as Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has said many times before. But will her family let this decision of hers stand? Eliminating the fashion line will definitely hit Hope where it hurts. She already lost Thomas (Matthew Atkinson — who’s back taping) and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri). And if she loses HFTF as well, what does she have left? Deacon, who’s married to someone Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric (John McCook) just called a sociopath? She has Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza), who is essential to her DNA, but she also loves her job a lot. And for her to lose that for talking to Finn and going to Deacon and Sheila’s wedding, well, all bets are off, right?
HFTF is limping along anyway. Thomas is gone, and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) has stated that he doesn’t think he can ever work with Zende (Delon de Metz) again over this whole Luna (Lisa Yamada) business. Steffy may be doing Hope a favor. She won’t see it that way, of course. (Listen to music from B&B here)
Unfortunately, we don’t know what fate awaits Finn just yet. But it can’t be good. When he saw Deacon and Sheila, he should have turned right around and waited for the food in the front of the restaurant. But he let himself be manipulated into sticking around and standing up for Deacon. A presumptuous Deacon even got Finn to give Tom (Clint Howard) the rings! So Finn participated in the wedding. He can’t take that back!
Yeah, Steffy isn’t going to be happy about this development. What will she do about it? Will her marriage to Finn survive?
Let us know what you think Steffy will do and what she should do in the comments.
