It’s official. There’s been speculation about The Bold and the Beautiful’s new recruit. Actress Murielle Hilaire will officially join the daytime soap in January 2025. Annika Noelle confirmed the news in a recent interview, and new details have emerged.
Noelle took part in a joint interview with her B&B co-star Lawrence Saint-Victor. The two discussed Hope and Carter’s relationship and what could happen next. She confirmed the news that fans have been talking about for weeks. Hilaire was rumored to reprise the role of Zoe Buckingham, previously played by Kiara Barnes.
However, she is set to take on the role of “Daphne Rose.” This woman will insert herself into Cope’s relationship. Noelle couldn’t be more excited about this new storyline. This character will make her debut on the Tuesday, January 7th episode. But all will be unveiled over time. “They take their time with her introduction, and it’s a really fresh character that’s bringing something dynamic,” Noelle told TV Insider.
The two ladies got along immediately behind the scenes. Their onscreen personas, not so much. Noelle was excited to practice her French on the show. It sounds like Daphne could be someone who works at Forrester International. She might have to travel to Los Angeles to get new details about this coup.
Noelle isn’t the only one excited about Daphne joining the daytime show. So is Saint-Victor. It’s just so much fun how the story continues to evolve and transition, and Murielle is so fantastic, and she has such an amazing energy,” he teased.

B&B fans are buzzing about this new actress. They want more details about her. Unfortunately, her Instagram account has been deactivated. Revenant Entertainment described Hilaire as a “bilingual French actress, born on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe.”
According to her IMDb profile, her acting credits include There’s Something In The Trunk and The Ritual Killer. She was a regular on the French series Baie Des Flamboyants and Coeur Océan. Hilaire then crossed over to BBC’s Agatha Christie miniseries and Death in Paradise. When she’s not acting, she’s kicking butt in martial arts.
