Whoa — Finn took a hard line with Sheila. Guess he thought a lot like the others, including his own wife. Two murders happened at Il Giardino. Obviously, the culprit had to be Sheila Carter. Because wherever Sheila is, death, destruction, and emotional damage happen. In the Wednesday, July 17, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Chief Baker showed up at Kill Giardino armed with questions and suspicions.
Take Her Away
Apparently, Li (Naomi Matsuda) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) have turned into Quincy, M.E. (a classic TV series). As soon as Li was done with the autopsy and the toxicology results materialized, she had no doubts. She knew that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) murdered Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers).
They didn’t hold back any of the overdose details from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). In fact, they spilled what they knew, and then the determined trio headed straight to Il Giardino, where they hoped to confront Sheila.
Of course, Chief Baker (Dan Martin) got there first. He questioned Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila about the circumstances of each death. As soon as Finn, Sheila, and Li arrived, things got more intense for Sheila. She immediately denied any involvement in the murders. And when pressed, she came up with the backpack. Sheila feels that the clue is in the backpack. Later, the group looked for evidence of the backpack. Unfortunately, they had no luck.
A few observations and comments:
- If Sheila’s the first person accused of this double murder, then she probably didn’t do it.
- However, Sheila said she deeply cared for Tom and Hollis, which is a load of you-know-what. While she probably liked Hollis since he was Deacon’s friend, she knew damn well she didn’t appreciate Tom digging into her past.
- As soon as Sheila mentioned Tom’s backpack, Li’s eyes darted around. This happened twice in the episode, and it made her look super sus. What was that all about? Li would love to railroad Sheila into prison, but would she do this?
- Speculation: Li administered the paternity test to Bill, Poppy, and Luna. Did she somehow help Poppy snow Bill? And what about her texts with Jack? Are the exes working together?
- Poor Deacon losing the two friends he has in this world. (Check out B&B’s Comings & Goings here)
Both Li and Steffy insisted to Chief Baker that this had to be Sheila’s doing. It wasn’t until the end of the episode that Finn actually demanded that the chief take Sheila in for questioning. He could no longer explain why brutally bad things happen around Sheila. He has a family to protect and so while Finn really had no right to tell Chief Baker how to do his job, he told the chief to take his mom away. Ultimately, he led Sheila Carter out in handcuffs — so far, she’s their prime suspect.
What did you make of Li’s sus behavior? And what about Chief Baker taking Sheila in? Let us know in the comments!
