Fans Weigh in on Whether Bold and the Beautiful’s Finn Could Really Be Luna’s Dad

Li is on the precipice of determining if Jack is Luna’s father on The Bold and the Beautiful. He insisted he was not that much of a cad that he would have slept with her sister Poppy. But, she forced him to take a paternity test anyway, and several fans believe he isn’t the bio-dad. One major fan theory that’s been going around is that Finn, Li’s son, is the father. But many have refuted that fact, especially because of its icky implications.

The Math Is Rather Wonky

One fan on X, formerly Twitter, responded to the fan theories about Finn (Tanner Novlan) and wrote, “Finn is probably in his mid-30s, 35/36. Luna is maybe 21/22. If Finn was her dad, he’d have been 15 at the age of conception. That would be statutory rape. Yuck. #BoldandBeautiful.” A quick look at IMDb reveals that Novlan was born in 1986, making him currently 38 (since his birthday isn’t until April). IMDb also reports that Lisa Yamada (Luna), born in September, is 22. So the fan was pretty close with Novlan being around 18 when Luna was theoretically conceived 20 years ago.

That kind of teeters on the edge of being statutory on Poppy’s (Romy Park) part, but is still gross to think that she’d have slept with her nephew, let alone him being a teen. And Yamada’s playing Luna a couple of years younger than her real self, so chances are Finn is also equally younger, getting us closer to the original guess of age 15. Another fan on X agreed with the ick factor and wrote: “If Finn is Luna’s father, Poppy groomed Finn. She has known him since he was a baby. She’s his aunt. Just the thought is gross. I hope they don’t go there.”

A Finn Reveal Could Cost the Show Viewers

Another X follower posted a hilarious clip from Saturday Night Live in which the doll Barbie tells her doll-sister Skipper that she’s really her mother and captioned it, “EXCLUSIVE #BoldandBeautiful SNEAK PEEK: Luna finds out Finn is her new daddy #3.” It perfectly illustrates just how bizarre and surreal it would be if Finn turned out to be the bio-daddy.

The hysterical fan responses kept rolling in as a different viewer on X shared a gif of Jim Carey’s Dumb and Dumber character nearly throwing up, writing, “Soooo is Luna’s father Finn???? #BoldandBeautiful.” One fan attacked the show’s creator by posting, “#Boldandbeautiful Bradley Bell is sick enough to make Finn – Luna’s father.” Across the board, fans grow worried that this might be the case, and many are prepared to stop watching if that happens.
