Sometimes, we wish The Bold and the Beautiful episodes were a half-hour longer because many necessary beats were played during the Tuesday, September 10 episode. Unfortunately, they felt a little rushed when we wanted characters like RJ and Zende to process them further.
Steffy Told Zende and RJ The Truth
Before B&B puts a neat and tidy bow on this whole Luna (Lisa Yamada) saga, the Forresters and Logans gathered at Eric’s place to celebrate Steffy’s safety and survival.
The family, including Deacon (Sean Kanan), welcomed Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood — find out what Tanner Novlan has to say about Finn and Steffy) back and expressed gratitude that she was safe, sound, and alive in Finn’s arms. It was difficult for them to understand what Luna did, but they discussed the different angles of this tragic situation.
Thankfully, Steffy revealed something big to RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Zende (Delon de Metz). For about two or three minutes, we witnessed her tell them about Luna instigating that night she slept with Zende.

Zende and RJ’s Reaction
Both RJ and Zende initially looked stunned to hear the news. Much like us, we never even thought that that night had anything to do with the carnage Luna inflicted on the Forresters and Logans (“Carnage” was Poppy’s word).
Thankfully, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was part of the conversation. Remember how hard she was on Zende when this disaster first happened? Well, she heard what Steffy said and immediately apologized for her harsh attitude towards him. RJ also apologized to Zende. After all, he did punch Zende all those months ago. On top of the apologies, Zende got sympathy from Steffy and hugs from Brooke and RJ.

More, Please
While we’re happy the show played this beat, it would have been nice to hear a bit more of their perspectives. While we’re at it, it would have been nice to see RJ and Luna have one more conversation. It would be great to see him visit her at the jail so they could have an honest conversation now that everybody knows everything.
Unfortunately, with B&B, we don’t get everybody’s extended POVs, only certain characters. We’re still waiting for Bill (Don Diamont) to spill. He’s clammed up, but here’s to hoping that with Katie (Heather Tom), he’ll unload a bit. Meanwhile, today’s episode had a great POV from Poppy (Romy Park). She told Bill how she was feeling, and she showed appropriate guilt, blame, anger, rage, and everything in between.
Again, lovely work from Romy Park. It was good to hear that she and Li (Naomi Matsuda) have worked things out and that Poppy will depend on her sister for her healing journey. But does this mean that we won’t see Poppy much in the future? Because what happened between Poppy and Bill today felt like a breakup, which was understandable. Too much has happened. Way too much.
What did you think of RJ and Zende finding out? What about the Bill / Poppy breakup? Let us know in the comments.
