Did Hope Take Thomas’s Love for Granted in the June 25 Bold and the Beautiful?

In the June 25 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, a stunned Hope tried to process Thomas’s engagement to Paris. And she wasn’t doing a very good job of it. She exhibited angst, pain, and an unwillingness to believe that Thomas had moved on so quickly. What will Hope do next?

An Engagement Shocker

It was a tale of two different demeanors. Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) was cool, calm, and collected—almost Stepford-like in demeanor—and very matter-of-fact. Hope (Annika Noelle) turned his proposal down twice. He felt he needed to move on. As soon as he got to Paris, he reconnected with Paris (Diamond White). After all, the two used to be platonic roommates…briefly.

Meanwhile, Hope didn’t know that her ex was dating, let alone asking anybody else to marry him. To say she was stunned is an understatement. She came off as shocked, saddened, disappointed, and scared. She was angry, too. He’d only been gone for three months, and in that short time, he fell in love and got engaged to Paris. What? It’s understandable to wonder if what he has with Paris is real.

The thing is, some of what Hope said to Thomas made us question whether she took him for granted while they were together. Specifically, this part:

“You were my constant. You were like my North Star. When my life was upside down and unstable, I knew I could look to you for reassurance. You were…you were steadfast. Your commitment, your love, your devotion…I mean, a one-woman man. You still are, aren’t you? Only that woman isn’t me anymore, is it?”

So, Thomas is back now, and Hope knows he’s engaged in Paris. At least Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) said he was happy to see her, although he seems to love and accept Paris. What will Hope do next? Will she fight for Thomas or step back and let him be happy with Paris?

Or will she fight tooth and nail for him? And what will Hope do when she finds out Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood — who shows how she picks up her kids) knew about this budding relationship the entire time? On the other hand, could this development give Hope the freedom to follow her feelings for Finn (Tanner Novlan)? What is the right way to go for Hope? Also, what’s going to happen to Hope for the Future? Will Thomas step back in as a lead designer or work on a big fashion non-profit project with Paris?

Interestingly, Paris said the two worked on themselves while Thomas was in Paris. Together, they decided to become better people. And Paris is so sure of her love for Thomas and his love for her. She’s not even insecure about their connection, not one bit. So, is this Thomas/Paris relationship genuine?
