On The Bold and the Beautiful, the Forresters and the Logans recently rocked on to Danny Romalotti at Eric’s mansion. In September, the show is going to keep things rockin’. If superfan Donna worshiped Danny, wait until she gets a load of the Icelandic rock star about to guest star.
Way Down We Go
Deadline first reported the news about Jökull Júliusson making a cameo appearance on B&B on Friday, Sept. 27. Júliusson is the lead singer of the popular rock band Kaleo. The Icelandic rockers gained fame with hits like “Way Down We Go,” “All the Pretty Girls,” and “No Good.”
Júliusso, who will play himself, has already pre-taped his episode. In the guest star spot, he’ll also perform Kaleo’s biggest hit, “Way Down We Go.” If you don’t think you’ve heard the song, think again. It has been a go-to track for many television shows, including This is Us, Suits, The Vampire Diaries, Empire, and Manifest. (Check out our B&B Weekly Update to preview and review the latest action)
Apparently, a B&B producer approached Kaleo’s lead singer while both attended an Andrea Bocelli concert. Last summer, Bocelli performed in an episode of the CBS soap that featured scenes filmed on location in Rome.
There is no word on who Júliusson will act opposite. However, what we do know is that he and his Grammy-nominated blues rock band are expanding their summer tour with a fall run that ends in mid-October.
