With Thomas and his son Douglas living in Europe on The Bold and the Beautiful, we haven’t seen much of them. At 11 years old, Henry Joseph Samiri has racked up quite the impressive resume of films and TV shows, and is perhaps best known for playing Douglas. The young actor has many impressive talents and even blew away his fans when he performed a Christmas song that he wrote. Now, he’s got another project he’s appearing in, announcing it on social media.
He’s Recurring to the Max
Samiri shared on his Instagram page, “If you like medical dramas, enjoy the excitement with #thepitt on HBO Max! My recurring role begins with episode 10! Thank you @fionadourif @braddourifofficial @jalenthomasbrooks @rob.heaps and @johnwellsproductions #thepitt #hbomax #hollywood #medical.”
Along with that, he shared a trailer for The Pitt with overlaid text stating, “My new recurring role starts next week so get caught up tonight on HBOMax!” and reiterated below the trailer, “Tune in tonight to get caught up.” His fans were thrilled to see his new project with one responding to his post, “Hi Henry! That is so awesome! Congratulaions to you!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

He Stirred Up Some Medical Drama
Samiri’s presence in the show helped fans decide that they wanted to view it, with one commenting, “I’ve been wanting to watch this show, since it’s filmed in my city. Now, I have even more reason to watch it. Welcome to Pittsburgh!” However, his new gig’s reception was somewhat bittersweet as a B&B viewer responded, “Can’t wait congratulations but I still miss you on Bold and the Beautiful.”
The Pitt is a new medical drama that takes place, as mentioned, in Pittsburgh and was created by R. Scott Gemmill, who also created several hit shows including ER. That show’s star, Noah Wyle, is also the star of this new series, playing Dr. Michael Robinavitch. Co-starring with him are Tracy Ifeachor (Doctor Who), and Fiona Dourif (Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency), who is the daughter of beloved character actor Brad Dourif (Child’s Play, 1988).
