Check Out Bold and the Beautiful Star Henry Joseph Samiri’s New Gig

With Thomas and his son Douglas spending time in Paris on The Bold and the Beautiful, Douglas’ portrayer, Henry Joseph Samiri, has had some free time on his hands. He recently appeared in a Progressive commercial where he stole the show and had fans clamoring for Douglas’ return.

Funnier Insurance

Samiri excitedly wrote on Instagram, “Had so much fun filming this [Progressive] spot! Thank you [Sydel Lisi] for this fun opportunity – you’re the best! @robinleohr 💛. Thank you always to [Shane Liem] and [Silver Layne Studios]. Let me know if you see it ✨.”

Progressive is always known for its hilarious TV ads, and Samiri made this one just as memorable as so many others, illustrating why he’s one of TV’s best child actors.

In the video, Flo (Stephanie Courtney) and the Progressive squad are in the kitchen with a mother and son, played by Samiri. It was clear that they had informed the family of the savings the insurance company offers, and the mom off-handedly remarked, “That’s nice. With the economy and all…” The young man then asked what the economy was, and the adults couldn’t find an easy answer. They then went into the usual Progressive schpiel, causing Samiri to turn on his heels and walk away, saying, “I’ll just look it up.”

More Douglas Per Capita

Some fans didn’t recognize him until he shared the commercial. Another who is most likely missing Douglas on B&B wrote, “Now we get to see you more often!!!😀.”

One viewer echoed what others were saying with the reply, “I knew that was you. I said ‘Look there’s little Douglas from B&B.’ The commercial was good but I miss you on B&B and hope you return soon 🤗.”

One truly loyal B&B fan wrote in all caps, “I ALWAYS GET EXCITED WHENEVER I SEE YOU DO ANYTHING♥️ I STOPPED WATCHING B & B CAUSE YOU WERE NOT ON IT!! YOU WERE THE STAR ⭐️ OF THAT SHOW!!!!♥️.”
