It feels like just yesterday that The Bold and the Beautiful viewers tuned into the show’s premiere in which Eric Forrester gave us a backstage look into Forrester Creations and Brooke Logan narrowly escaped some thugs who attempted to kidnap her. Now, the show is celebrating 37 years of bold and beautiful stories.
Always in Fashion: Milestone Celebration
The cast, crew, and production of B&B gathered at Fanny’s at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. “Celebrating the 37th year of the @boldandbeautifulcbs …. Thanks Brad Bell [executive producer/head writer] for the amazing party!” shared Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) on Instagram. “And thank you for all the wonderful years! Here’s to many more! So blessed to work with all these incredible people. I love my job So much fun.”
John McCook (Eric) was accompanied by his wife Laurette McCook who posted a photo of the couple with Eva Basler, B&B’s Vice President, Communications & Talent Relations. “Our fabulous friend, [Eva]. She shows us all how to be better people,” Laurette wrote.
There were a few surprise faces at the festivities. Kimberlin Brown (ex-Sheila — or not “ex”…hmm) was there as were Ashley Brewer, who is coming back as Ivy, and Maeve Quinlan, who played Megan Conley, Brooke’s executive assistant and confidante.
“From the moment I stepped on set of Stage 31 at CBS Television City as Megan Conley in 1995 until my very last episode in 2006, The Bold and the Beautiful has always been my family,” Quinlan posted in Instagram. “Years can go by and even decades, and we pick right back up where we started. These cast-mates, these producers, these directors, these writers, this casting director, this crew, and our boss Brad Bell, Colleen and the entire Bell Family are class acts. I am eternally grateful for having played a part in 11 of these 37 glorious years. I will love these people forever. Happy 37th Anniversary to The Bold and the Beautiful.”
“Happy 37th Birthday B&B!!!!!! I didn’t take nearly enough photos, but last night was an amazing celebration of the legacy of our show,” enthused Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter), who is also one of the show’s scribes.
“Really fun night celebrating with everyone at the 40’s themed [B&B] 37th Anniversary Party‼️” enthused Don Diamont (Bill). “Even Marilyn Monroe had to get in the action. Great job putting it together [Eva Basler] My parking ticket found its way onto the red carpet. Can you find it???? Thanks for the PERFECT SHIRT [Dan Roma Shirts] Love you guys!!!”
Soap Hub sends a big congratulations to Brad Bell, original cast members Katherine Kelly Lang, John McCook, and the entire B&B company on 37 years! Here’s to many more!
