With the perfumer wanting to become a parent herself, this would be the opportunity for viewers to learn more about how she grew up. Whether that’s a positive picture of the way she was raised, or what she’d like to do better if her home environment wasn’t good for her as a child.
There’s also the question of whether she wants her baby to live in America full-time. With Forrester having an office in Paris, she may suggest that she and Carter split their time between the States and France, which would be a major change and might cause problems.
