Katrina Bowden has lots to celebrate. The actress who played Flo on The Bold and the Beautiful is expecting her first child. The mom-to-be has been sharing details about her pregnancy and just announced the baby’s gender in a sweet reveal.
General Reveal
Bowden and her husband, Adam Taylor, announced her pregnancy in May. The couple, who married in November 2024, were ready to start a family but didn’t realize it’d happen so soon. Now their little bundle of joy is due later this year, and they’ve just revealed what the baby will be.
On Instagram, the star posted a video of the gender reveal. The clip starts off in black and white as Bowden and her husband put two champagne flutes into a cake. The video then switches to color to reveal that the cake is pink.
“We are having a….GIRL!! 🩷🌸💕🎀🩰💖” Bowden captioned the post.
“We were genuinely so surprised because almost everyone in our lives thought it was a boy. So we just kinda jumped on that bandwagon and also thought it was a boy. There was actually never a moment I even contemplated the idea of having a girl, haha! But now, after knowing we are having a girl…I can’t imagine anything else and am so excited to meet her 🌸”

Bowden’s comment section was filled with congratulatory messages.
Former B&B co-star Darin Brooks, who is a girl dad, wrote, “Girls are the BEST!!! Hahaha congrats you guys!!”
Tanner Novlan kept his response simple with a pink emoji.
Bowden is excited to be a girl mom, and she’s bound to get plenty of advice from her co-stars, most of whom are parents to daughters.
